Asteroid City Exhibition
Yesterday I went to see the exhibition for Wes Anderson's new film Asteroid City. I must admit it's my least favourite of his films but it was still a thrill to see the amazing costumes, props and sets featured in his undeniably colourful and quirky movie.
Anderson's attention to detail is, as ever, flawless, so to see all the beautifully considered props and to get to see them close and actually read things like letters, newspaper articles, scripts and see drawings and notes etc featured in the film really brought it to life in a new way. This is the third Wes Anderson exhibition I've seen at 180 Studios (I covered both the Isle Of Dogs and French Dispatch ones on this blog) and they are always a joy. Absolutely recommended, not just if you are a Wes fan, but a film fan in general.
