Sweet gig memories...

Soundgarden playing the Camden Underworld in London
(my shoulder and hair is just seen in the corner in front of Chris Cornell)
I've been to so many gigs over the years often I have trouble remembering them all, so recently I've been trying to compile a list of every gig I've ever been to and it's been tougher than I imagined.
Most of the shows I've actually got ticket stubs for, which is pretty cool because I would never had remembered the dates otherwise (in some cases I barely even remember the gig!), and there are a few elusive ones I don't have tickets for (most likely there weren't paper tickets issued for these shows) that I've had trouble remembering where and when. Luckily the power of the internet has helped me with a few such as J Mascis playing the Metro Club in 2002 and De Facto, the dub band of Omar and Cedric from At The Drive-In and The Mars Volta, playing the Camden Barfly in 2001 but there are a couple that are completely alluding me. One is when Kansas grunge rockers Paw played the Camden Underworld in either November or December 1995 (I was on the guest list so didn't get a ticket for that one - I think it was November 30, but I'm not sure) and another is Scheer in either '95 or '96! I can't even remember the year, let alone the month, for that one. I do know it was at Water Rats in King's Cross, but sadly Scheer, a 4AD band from Northern Ireland who released just one album, are so obscure there's barely a mention of them on the interweb, let alone a list of shows played.
Aside from that I think I've pretty much got all of them, although I've thought that twice then suddenly remembered more to add. As of now I've been to 298 gigs in the past (with 17 coming up), so that's not bad, certainly better than my brother who says he's only ever been to 20 in his whole life!
Anyway, you can check out my list of gigs past and future here. Some great memories, of the shows I actually remember at least, there.
